A new trailer was released for Atomic Blonde, the new assassin thriller starring Charlize Theron and directed by David Leitch, the co-helmsman of John Wick.
The movie got its premier at the 2017 SXSW film festival after a title change. Universal Pictures rleased the first Atomic Blonde trailer about the same time, formally starting off the movie’s marketing campaign .
Atomic Blonde’s story unfolds during final days of the Cold War in 1980s; where Lorraine Broughton (Theron), a highly-lethal MI6 spy gets sent to Berlin to deliver a “priceless” dossier.
Lorraine is assisted on by another MI6 agent: Berlin station chief David Percival (James McAvoy), but in a city of spies and killers, it’s downright suicidal for her to really trust anyone that she meets.

The second trailer for Atomic Blonde goes deeper into the plot, but still concentrates on the movie’s biggest selling point – the action.
Theron admitted to the extent of the dental injuries she received while filming Atomic Blonde because of bone-crunching fights and close-quarter brawls that she participated in during production. Still, the final result is something to behold for it.
Based on a script by Kurt Johnstad, Atomic Blonde earned positive reviews from the critics who saw it at SXSW; the early opinion being that Theron’s impressive performance and the fight scenes make up for the film’s shortcomings in other areas.
